Music is so much fun:

Since retiring, I had the opportunity to play trumpet n the Georgian Sound Big Band for  five years. Then I played jazz standards with Jim Kinnear on keyboard and Ron Lombard or Ralph Johnson on Bass as the "Eh Train" Trio in the Collingwood area. Along the way I learned to play flute and tenor and baritone saxophones to add some variety.

Now located In Guelph,  I discovered the pleasure of playing in a learning environment with New Horizons Jazz Ensemble under the mentor-ship of Brent Rowan.

Presently, it is so much fun to sit in with "A Record Day" with Willy, Heather and Greg to play concerts in some of the Seniors Residences in the Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo. Our repertoire includes favourite tunes from the early to mid-twentieth century; songs made famous by Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald and even some early rock 'n roll.
